Bristol Motorhome & Caravan Show launches at the Bristol Balloon Fiesta
The Bristol Motorhome & Caravan Show will be launched on 9 to 12 August 2018 at the heart of the Bristol Balloon Fiesta at Ashton Court Estate, Bristol. Endorsed by the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, this four-day show will put motorhomes, caravans and camping products, systems and services in front of serious campers and more than 500,000 visitors to the Balloon Fiesta.
The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is Europe’s largest annual meeting of hot air balloons, attracting over 130 Hot Air Balloons from across the globe. The Bristol Motorhome & Caravan Show is being organised by Carnah, who have a strong track record of delivering highly successful consumer shows including the Northern Boat Show in Liverpool and the Western Boat Show in Bristol.
Richard Milbourn, Event Director of the new show said, “The Bristol Balloon Fiesta already attracts huge numbers of campers at a number of sites surrounding Ashton Court Estate. We’re looking forward to providing a great weekend’s entertainment for everyone visiting the Fiesta and Show.” Milbourn added, “this year the Fiesta is opening up a number of camping sites within the grounds of Ashton Court which will ensure even more motorhome, caravan and camping enthusiasts are on site throughout the Show.”
The Fiesta is is a sight that can only be seen in Bristol. Held over four days in August at Ashton Court Estate, the event is completely free with charges made for parking on the event site. Alongside the fantastic sight of hot air balloons filling the skies, there are a large number of other attractions such as fairground rides.
The Bristol Motorhome & Caravan Show will also be entirely free with the charges only being made for parking on the event site. The Bristol Balloon Fiesta already has a large and established audience of campers at Kingscott Farm which will be extended with two new fields in 2018 attracting over 1,000 units camped on-site. The Balloon Fiestas format is to have early morning and early evening hot air balloon lift offs which enables the 500,000 strong audience to visit the Bristol Motorhome & Caravan Show during the day.
Bristol is one of the most accessible cities in the UK, with excellent road, rail, bus and coach and air links:- * a large international airport, with ioperators flying into Bristol from 112 different countries. * ideally situated for road access from London as well as from the north and east of England, being situated at the intersection of the M4 and M5 motorways. * Bristol Temple Meads railway station is the largest rail hub in the west of England, with direct services available from London, Scotland, Wales, Manchester and Birmingham. * There are a large number of coach parks and coach dropping off points around the city with regular shuttle bus services directly to the Fiesta.
A comprehensive PR and marketing campaign will promote the Bristol Motorhome & Caravan Show to a targeted audience of motohome, caravan and camping enthusiasts as well as the huge visitor audience descending on the Fiesta.
